Missing

Missing is a modern fairytale. A brother desperately searches for his missing sister in a sinister world of deceit and unknown peril.

If you saw this brother and sister in the street you would see them as no-hopers. You might even be afraid of them. If you heard about them in the news they would be described as “the new poor”.

Missing is the story of two poor children surviving desperate circumstances through a rich mix of imaginative power, loyalty, love and sheer cunning.

Theatr Iolo commissioned this new play from Welsh playwright Charles Way in cooperation with Theater Consol in Gelsenkirchen, Germany.
