Open Up
was a combined performance and workshop project aimed at reluctant readers in Years 10 & 11 studying GCSE English Literature, which toured to schools in the Autumn of 2001. It featured extracts from An Inspector Calls, Of Mice and Men and a choice of either A View from the Bridge or Romeo and Juliet. Open Up aimed to bring English Literature back to life, giving pupils the opportunity to work with professional actors in a small participation workshop (suitable for approx. 30), and rediscover their enthusiasm for reading and language.
