It is a hot afternoon that seems to go on forever and Jean is bored and irritable. He climbs down the stairs and comes to an open door. He takes a deep breath and enters – from that moment his world is turned upside-down, inside-out and back-to-front.

A new play by Theatr Iolo for 5-7 year-olds and inspired by the paintings and sculptures of the Catalan painter Joan Miró celebrates a world of creativity, dreams and surreal poetry where nothing is what it seems.

Snail Woman Flower Star explores themes which are very real to younger children, such as emotions and feelings, friendship and making sense of the world.
