In this fun dance workshop, your family will learn a variety of folk dancing elements including learning a full Welsh traditional folk dance called Aberdaugleddau and taking part in your very own Twmpath.

These free sessions are run by Nia Rees. Nia is a Welsh speaker, and all sessions will be run bilingually.

When booking, you must have a ticket for each child and adult attending. If you can no longer make it, please contact Chapter to cancel your tickets, so another family can attend in your place.

Please wear comfortable clothes and trainers / shoes. We will take regular breaks, but it would be helpful if everyone brought a bottle of water with them, as this is an active workshop.

Age Guidance: Children aged 7+ and their adults. Younger children are welcome, but we kindly ask you to think carefully about whether they would become restless during the workshop and how you would take care of your whole family's needs. Please note that this is a family workshop and parents / carers cannot leave children alone. We recommend a ratio of at least 1 adult to 4 children.

These sessions have been made possible thanks to the Welsh Government St David’s Day Fund.

As part of our St David’s Day Celebration, we also have performances of our outdoor show Coblyn, made in collaboration with Kitsch n Sync Collective and Hijinx. Find out more here.
