"We believe that the digital space offers endless possibilities for sparking creativity and imagination, and we can't wait to share our love and passion for theatre with people all over the world. Our TikTok channel will show teenagers and young people, the number of industry professionals it takes to create our shows and highlights the amount of employment opportunities the theatre industry has to offer.”

Lee Lyford, Artistic Director

Theatr Iolo, who make work for children aged 0-16, were inspired to create an account by Teejay, the company’s Creative Apprentice, and Menna, their Social Media Intern. Working to support the company with reaching new audiences, the pair identified the potential for engaging teenagers on the platform and curated content designed to appeal to them. This collaborative approach forms part of Theatr Iolo’s ongoing work to consult with young people on their programme of work, in order to ensure that young voices are at the heart of the company.
